The Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business is the entity responsible for the processing of personal data provided by users on the Web Portals and Electronic Offices.

Collection of personal data

In order to provide services, the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business may request personal data through forms that will generally be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation (EU) 2016/ 679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016.

The Ministry will inform and may collect data from the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification and contact data (including postal and/or electronic addresses).
  • Identification codes or keys for access and operations in the Portal and the electronic Headquarters.
  • Transactional data, that is, any operation, movement and query associated with any of the administrative services and procedures that a user maintains with the Ministry.
  • Socioeconomic and labor data.

Purposes of the processing activities and their legitimacy:

Through the Web Portals and Electronic Offices, no personal data is collected without express consent. The data provided by the interested party will be used, on a sole and exclusive basis, for the purposes provided for in each procedure or action.

The general purpose of the collection and processing of personal data is the management, provision and improvement of services and the processing of administrative procedures related to the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business as well as any other service requested at any time by the user. and monitoring and responding to queries raised by them.

Each service offered by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business may have additional purposes, all of them justified, in addition to the express consent of the user, by the legitimation conferred on the Ministry by the Laws and Legal Standards that regulate the services offered and the associated procedures.

Recipients, assignment and transfer of data

In general terms, the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business is the only recipient of the data collected. In no case will the aforementioned data be subject to processing or transfer to third parties, if not with the express consent of the affected party in accordance with the assumptions provided for by current legal regulations.

When the service provided or its associated procedure includes legal obligations derived from the legitimation of the processing that require the assignment or transfer to third parties, the third parties receiving those data and the purposes of their processing activities will be indicated.

The user's express consent will be obtained for such assignments and transfers of data. Consent will be requested separately and specifically when the data transfer is international.

Data retention period:

The data will be kept for the time necessary to provide the services offered by the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business based on administrative legislation regarding the prescription of responsibilities.
